Abstract

The present Act establishes a process for producers to approve or not approve the resale prices for gas that will form the basis for the price they receive for supplying the gas. It also provides authority to gather information required to establish some components in the calculation of Crown royalty. The text consists of 27 sections divided into 5 Parts as follows: Services Relating to Price Components (1); Producer Support for Downstream Pricing (2); Gas Pricing Arbitration (3); Records and information (4); General (5).
