Abstract The purpose of this Act is to ensure conditions of effective natural gas supply at reasonable prices and of sufficient quality. The primary means to achieve a functioning natural gas market is to protect effective economic competition in the sale and storage of natural gas as well as to reasonable and equitable service principles in the natural gas business. The companies in the natural gas market provide for the services associated with natural gas customer acquisition as well as to promote the efficient and economic use of natural gas.
