Section 3 defines the criteria that the Minister of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Environment has to follow in order to designate any area of land as natural area. Under section 6, the Minister may appoint an Advisory Committee to advise him on the designation and management of natural areas. Under section 7, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is empowered to pass all regulation necessary for the implementation of the Act, the section spells out what can be subject matter for regulation.
