Abstract

The broad goals of this Policy are (I) provision of relevant education for all young people to develop their skills and make a contribution to national development, (II) provision of adequate health education and health care facilities for all young women and men, (III) promotion of healthy lifestyles among young men and women, (IV) provision of technical and vocational training opportunities, (V) diversification in employment opportunities, (VI) support for young entrepreneurs, (VII) provision of recreational opportunities to improve the quality of young women and men's lives and offer them a career opportunity, (VIII) strengthened collaboration between the governmental institutions and non-governmental organizations, and (IX) full participation of both young women and men in the political, economic, social and cultural activities. The health status of young women and men will be improved through healthy eating and the consumption of local agricultural produce. Moreover, more income generating opportunities will be created for youth by creating incentives for getting involved in local fisheries and agricultural industries.
