Abstract

This Notice of the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, made pursuant to section 78(3) of the National Water Act, 1998, establishes the Olifants catchment management agency, describes its area of operation and makes provision with the validation of administrative matters of the agency including the billing of a water resource management charge. The area of operation shall be the Olifants Water Management Area and any other water resources situated outside that area, which the Department of Water and Sanitation or the responsible authority may require the Olifants Catchment Management Agency to control.
