It shall consist of members as specified in the same section. The national Trust shall promote the permanent preservation for the benefit of the nation of property of beauty or historic interest. The National Trust may declare a monument of national importance to be a National Monument under section 15. Restrictions are places on activities as regards such monuments. The Minister may issue an Interim Preservation Notice for potential national monument under section 20. Preservation Schemes shall be prepared by the Trust for national monuments under section 24.
