The Act establishes a National Tobacco Control Committee and the Tobacco Control Unit, both charged with the regulation of smoking, prohibition of tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, licensing of tobacco dealers, product packaging and the inclusion of warning signs, education and public awareness programmes on the ills of tobacco usage, etc. Full text English
