Abstract

The Final Technical Report on the National Sustainable Development Plan NSDP 2016 to 2030 details the important strategic context behind the goals and policy objectives. It also provides the detailed background to the consultative process that led to the final document, and explains the key issues under each goal. This is complemented by the Implementation and Monitoring Framework for the National Sustainable Development Plan to guide the execution of this plan. The National Sustainable Development Goals are divided into three pillars: The Society pillar seeks to maintain a vibrant cultural identity underpinning a peaceful, just and inclusive society that is supported by responsive and capable institutions, delivering quality services to all citizens. A healthy population that enjoys a high quality of physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being. An inclusive society which upholds human dignity and where the rights of all Ni-Vanuatu including women, youth, the elderly and vulnerable groups.
