Abstract This National Standard establishes terms and definitions in the sphere of processing, composition and properties of foodstuffs of organic production cycle, covered by standardization. It establishes rules and regulations applicable to organic production. Use of GMO in organic production shall be prohibited. This National Standard defines areas of organic production and sets forth standards for ingredients used for organic production.
