This National Standard enters into force of the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This National Standard establishes terms and definitions in the sphere of processing, composition and properties of foodstuffs of organic production cycle, covered by standardization. It establishes rules and regulations applicable to organic production. Use of GMO in organic production shall be prohibited. This National Standard defines areas of organic production and sets forth standards for ingredients used for organic production. Organic production shall be subject to mandatory certification and compliance with the established organic production standards.
