Abstract National Solid Waste Management Strategy is a national policy with a cross-sectoral approach. The timeframe of this Strategy is 10 years between 2017 and 2026. The goals of this Strategy are: (I) collection and dissemination of waste data, (II) strengthened institutional capacity on waste management based on economic and social benefits, (III) proper waste management and co-sharing of responsibilities between stakeholders, (IV) best practices in waste management, and (V) capacity building of waste practitioners.
