Abstract

This Standard is formulated to implement the environmental protection law and the law on the prevention and control of radioactive pollution, protect the environment, protect human health, and standardize the radiation protection and radiation environmental protection of uranium mining and milling. The Standard specifies the principles and basic requirements of radiation protection and radiation environment protection that should be observed in the process of site selection, design, construction, operation, shutdown, decommissioning and closing, and long-term monitoring of uranium mining and milling facilities.
