The Regulations also: empower the Administrator to prescribe fees and to regulate opening hours of protected areas; provide for the setting aside of a National Protected Area or part of a National Protected Area for a particular use; require the Administrator to consult with the Head of Conservation and the Island Council Biodiversity & Fisheries Committee; provide for appeal against decisions to the Governor; and provide with respect to enforcement and offences. The taking of any animal or plant by any method out of the national park area is prohibited.
