The Centre shall stimulate consciousness towards the attainment of higher levels of productivity in all sectors of the Nigerian economy and shall promote international cooperation for the enhancement of national productivity. It shall, among other things, encourage the formation of productivity committees and establish branches of the National Productivity Centre in each State of Nigeria.
