Abstract

This National Plan for Policies on Women (PNPM) 2013-2015, consisting of 10 Chapters, aims at encouraging the sustainable development with the inclusion of women in all their specificities and diversities, taking into account the social, economic and environmental dimensions, democratizing access to the natural resources, the social services and public services. The Plan aims at implementing the following activities: to stimulate the growth of participation of women in economic activities related to food sovereignty and security, with a view to the agro-ecological transition and the promotion of development with social and environmental sustainability; to promote the expansion of social infrastructure in urban and rural areas, guaranteeing the right of women to housing and decent housing, with accessibility, through, among other actions, the facilitation of forms of financing. The goals are: to guarantee the specific attendance of women with credit, access to markets, and tools for the promotion of ecologically and organically based production systems; to support the productive organization of women's economic enterprises; to strengthen economic activities developed by women linked to sovereignty and food security with public support for the expansion of agro-ecological-based production, and women from traditional communities (pag. 62).
