This Resolution enters into force on 14 December 2008.
Abstract

This National Parliament Resolution ratifies, for accession, the United Nations Convention against Corruption signed in Vienna on 10 December 2003. The purpose of this Convention is to: (a) Promote and strengthen measures aimed at preventing and combating corruption more effectively; (b) Promote, facilitate and support international cooperation and technical assistance in preventing and combating corruption, including asset recovery; (c) Promote integrity, responsibility and good management of public affairs and goods.
