They prohibit certain activities prohibited in national parks, nature reserves, sanctuaries or area of historical interest including the taking of any animal or plant by any method on land or at sea, except to the extent permitted in any fishing zone. The Director may establish within a national park or nature reserve, fishing zones where, subject to the Fisheries Protection Regulations, non-commercial recreational fishing is permitted.
