Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 45 sections divided into five Parts and completed by three Schedules, implement the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 by providing specifications on kangaroo harvesting operations. The Regulations cover sealed tags for kangaroos, harvesting kangaroos under section 60J permit; taking kangaroos for personal use under section 53(1)(c) permit; and defines related duties and responsibilities along with offences for violations of provisions of these Regulations. Schedules establish: Point for attaching sealed tags; Field record books; returns and Revocation and transitional provisions.
