This Act enters into force on 1 January 2001, unless commenced sooner by proclamation.
Abstract

This Act, consisting of 15 sections divided into three Parts and completed by eight Schedules, provides for the transfer of certain areas, including state forests, in the Southern region of New South Wales to the national park estate. The borders of the areas transferred are indicated in the schedules attached to the Act.
