This Act enters into force on 1 January 2011.
Abstract

This Act, consisting of 19 sections divided into four Parts and completed by nine Schedules, aims at transferring certain State forest lands in the South-Western area to the national park estate; to make provisions with respect to forestry operations in that area; enabling the transfer to Aboriginal ownership and conservation of certain other State forest lands; specifying lands subject to Aboriginal land claims; approval for South-Western forestry operations; forestry operations on land remaining as State forest; etc.
