Abstract

This National Ordinance provides rules for the collection, transport and treatment of wastewater. A manager may be appointed to which duties assigned by this Ordinance to the Minister may be transferred. The Ordinance also formulates a general duty of care in respect of wastewater. A Wastewater Plan shall be reviewed every five years by the Minister. The Act prohibits discharge of wastewater without an authorization of the Minister. A national Decision shall establish limit values for wastewater and quality objectives for surface waters and marine waters.
