The Act provides for establishment of the national institute of health, centers for disease control, committee nomination, board of governors, functions of the board, powers of the institute, functions of the center for disease control, declaration of health emergency or epidemic, health data center, functions of the institute of nutrition and health, functions of vaccines and biological center and functions for environmental and occupational health that is in charge of evaluating and researching on environmental hazards and occupational safety and to developing and providing national guidelines on environmental safety.
