Abstract

This Act lays down provisions on the powers of Minister concerning the cultural heritage of Grenada; offence of excavation or extraction in protected area; illegal trade of any Amerindian art work, Pre-Columbian artefact or archaeological remains; and forfeiture of every Amerindian art work, Pre-Columbian artefact and archaeological remains seized by a police officer or National Heritage Protection Officer in connection with the offence. The Schedule lists the protected areas for the purposes of this Act.
