It offers quality, timely and humanized services, with a view to combating poverty and strengthening the National well-being. NHDP' objectives are ambitious in all areas of the NHS, including strengthening the fight against transmissible and chronic diseases, mother and child care, improved services, etc. The NHDP is a key management document and an essential integration tool to sustain the NHS in the medium and long term politically, technically and financially. It is presented as the strategic-operational document to materialize the strategic guidelines set out in the "Angola 2025" Long-Term Development Strategy and the National Health Policy, as well as in the priorities of the Executive, transforming them into concrete actions and interventions to be executed during its term.
