Abstract This Act lays down rules to support projects and activities aimed to achieve the objectives of the National Energy Road Map in providing accessible, affordable, secure and reliable and sustainable energy and green growth, and to provide financial support and technical assistance to extend the access to electricity for users of renewable energy sources and facilitate more efficient end-use of energy. To this end, this Act sets forth provisions on the establishment of the National Green Energy Fund and the establishment, functions, composition and powers of the National Green Energy Fund Board. The Board shall be responsible for the efficient and proper management and control of the Fund.
