Abstract

This Notice of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, made under section 12 (1) (a) and (b) of the National Forests Act, 1998, declares all particular trees and particular group of trees set out in the Schedule to be protected trees. The effect of this Declaration is that no person may cut, disturb, damage or destroy any protected tree or possess, collect, remove, transport, export, purchase, sell, donate or in any other manner acquired or dispose of any protected tree or any forest product derived from a protected tree, except under a licence granted by the Minister.
