Sections 2 and 3 lay down some changes in the national language text. Section 4 adds new definitions to those contained in the National Forestry Act, such as “forest offence”. Further amendments mainly concern administration (appointment of officers, delegation of powers), licences, possession of forest produce, acts which are prohibited in permanent reserved forests and related penalties. Moreover, sections 100A and 100B are added. Last, some amendments are laid down to the first, the second, the third and the third schedule.
