Abstract

National Forest Programme of Czech Republic (NFP) is a national sectoral document of Czech Republic covering the period 2003-2006. Its main objectives include forest management in accordance with principles of sustainable management; development of wood-producing and non-wood-producing functions of forests; conservation and development of biological diversity of forest ecosystems; support to raw timber production and use; management of forests in specially protected areas; and protection of forest ecosystems against harmful factors.
