Abstract

Regulations to implement provisions of the National Food Authority Act. Regulation 3 prescribes "appropriate government agencies" for purposes of subsection 3(1) of the Act. Regulations 4 and 5 and Schedule 1 and 2 make provision for powers and duties of the National Food Authority with respect to applications for the development or variation of standards made under section 12 of the Act. Regulation 6 prescibes Authorities and persons to whom information may be disclosed in accordance with section 39 of the Act. (6 Regulations and 2 Schedules)
