Entry into force notes
This Act shall come into force on a day appointed by the Minister.
Abstract

A National Fire Service is established under section 3. The Service shall have stations in each of the zones listed in the Schedule. Regulation making powers of the Fire Chief are specified in section 8. Sections 10 to 14 make provision for response of the Service to fires or national disasters. Sections 15 to 17 concern arrangements and agreements by the Service with other persons or organizations, in particular for the purpose of water supply.
