Abstract

These Regulations set out provisions for the certification of environmental laboratories. Environmental laboratories shall apply to the Federal Agency for an environmental laboratory certificate if they fulfil the requirements provided for in regulation 5. The application shall be scrutinized by the Advisory Committee and the final decision shall be taken by the Federal Agency (regs. 6-8). Functions and duties of an environmental laboratory are outlined in regulation 9. Validity, renewal, revocation and suspension of a certification are discussed in regulations 10-14. (14 regulations and 6 Schedules)
