This Policy was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 30 April 2003.
Abstract

The National Environmental Policy is a national policy with a cross-sectoral approach. The overall goal of the National Environmental Policy is to promote sustainable development and conservation of the environment on a long-term basis to meet the needs of present and future generations, with respect to the right to live in a healthy environment.
