Abstract

This Notice of the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs and made under section 9 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 establishes the national ambient air quality standard for particulate matter of aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 micron metre (PM2.s). It also concerns the method of assessment of ambient pollutant concentrations. Where test methods are specified, any other method which can be demonstrated to give equivalent results may be used.
