Its Mission is to enhance and develop human capital as well as its utilisation, to assure productive and sustainable employment in the rural and urban economies, by improving knowledge and skills, adequate income earning opportunities and labour market services. While it is acknowledged that positive action has been taken by the Government and other stakeholders towards addressing existing gender inequalities and disparities, these problems still present a serious challenge which prevents the society from realizing its full potential in all aspects of social, economic and political development.
