Abstract

The Act introduces a national trading system for greenhouse gas emission certificate to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that are not subject to EU emissions trading. The Act applies on the greenhouse gas emissions produced from the energy sources such as fossil mineral oils, motor and heating fuels, natural gas and coal. The Act provides for registration and monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions by the trading participants; trading of the national emission certificate; purchase and return of national emission certificate; evaluation of national emission certificate and surrendering the national emission certificate in consideration of EU emissions trading. The text contains 34 Articles divided into 10 Sections and has 2 attachments.
