An Act to establish a National Development Agency aimed at promoting an appropriate and sustainable partnership between the Government and civil society organisations to eradicate poverty and its causes; to determine the objects and functions of the Agency; to determine the manner in which it is to be managed and governed; to regulate its staff matters and financial affairs; and to provide for connected matters.

Abstract

This Act establishes the National Development Agency as a juristic person and defines its objects and powers. The Agency shall financially and otherwise support civil society organizations in their development work. The Minister may make Regulations for purposes of this Act.
