Abstract

These Regulations, made under section 31 of the National Agricultural Marketing and Development Corporation Act, 1991, provides for the operation of a specified market in Trinidad and Tobago. Regulation 3 sets out powers, functions and duties of the manager of the market. Regulation 4 concerns permits to operate in the market. Operators shall be submitted to medical examination. The second part of these Regulations concerns the regulation of sale of food on the market and in particular meat and fish (Part IV). Meat shall be certified and a license to sell meat or fish shall be obtained. Records of sale shall be kept.
