The Authority shall be an autonomous Federal Government Organ and shall be accountable to the Ministry of Rural Development. Its duties include formulation of policies, issuance of importation and exportation permits, implementation of laws relating to agricultural inputs, etc. (art. 6). The Authority shall be managed by a General Manager, the powers and duties of which are outlined in article 8. Full text English
