This National Action Plan enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Proceeding from the priority directions of ensuring security, as well as with a view to implementing a balanced, mutually beneficial and constructive foreign policy aimed at strengthening cooperation in various security areas, creating a security belt around Uzbekistan based on the principles of maintaining stability and good-neighborliness in the region, further promoting a positive image of the country abroad, ensuring full implementation of international instruments in the field of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety, the Cabinet of Ministers validates National Action Plan of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the implementation of international instruments in the field of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety for the period 2018-2021. The main objectives of the National Action Plan shall be identified as follows: (a) preventing the illicit trafficking and proliferation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and their means of delivery; (b) strengthening the material and technical base of authorized state bodies; (c) organization of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety; and (d) approval of the list of export control goods, as well as timely and effective implementation of other tasks aimed at ensuring chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety.
