Abstract The Act contains provisions on seasons and route for importation of animals, vaccination and marking of animals, period of detention of animal at quarantine, liability to pay vaccine and making fees for infected animals, prohibition of movement of animals in the infected areas, compulsory segregation and treatment of the animals in infected area and the manner of the disposal of infected animals.
