Abstract

The Act contains provisions on impounding, sale, seizure and detention of cattle. It also establishes the control to be carried out on cattle trespassing fences and damaging land, procedure when owner claims the cattle and pays fines and charges; on pounds and rates of charges for feeding impounded cattle. The pounds shall be under the control of the local authority and that authority shall fix the rates of charge for feeding and watering impounded cattle. Additionally, the Act provides for penalties for violating the provisions of the Act.
