Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the Muskwa Kechika Management Area which is an area of unique wilderness in North eastern British Columbia endowed with a globally significant abundance and diversity of wildlife. Section 3 rules that the said area established under Order in Council 1367/97 and known as the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area is confirmed and that the planning and management of Crown land and natural resources in the management area must be conducted in accordance with the management plan established in the present Act. The text consists of 23 sections.
