The Agreement provides for the continuation of the Ministerial Council and the Murray-Darling Basin Commission, constituted under a previous between the same parties, and further regulates their operation. It contains provisions on investigations studies and monitoring; construction and maintenance of works and related costs and on the allocation of water resources among the parties and related matters.
