State nursery and breeding areas shall be set up by decision of the Ministry of Nature Management and Environmental Protection. State nursery and breeding areas shall carry out the following tasks: (a) protection of territory and adjacent natural landscapes; (b) reproduction of animal, fish and plant species; (c) semi-captive breeding of rare and precious animals; (d) repopulation; (e) scientific research; and (f) dissemination of environment-oriented information.
