Abstract This Act sets out provisions on the establishment, functions, responsibilities, and departments of the Ministry of Environment; the establishment and audit of the Environmental Administration Fund; the establishment of the Environmental Trust Fund, and the functions and powers of the Board of Trustees of Environmental Trust Fund. The main duty of the Ministry is to manage, protect and conserve all land, water, air and living resources of the Bahamas, having regard to the environmental, economic and social benefits they may confer on the Bahamas.
