Abstract This Regulation consisting of 12 articles aims at regulating the Sultanate's fish exports and establishes that (i) the export of kanad (kingfish) and sahwa fish (a type of tuna fish) is prohibited; (ii) to export some kinds of canned, chilled, and frozen fish are required the specifications listed in art.3, in particular to guarantee the food quality; (iii) indicate the percentages of catch - with the indication of the various types - that the licensed owners of transport vehicles and marketing of living aquatic wealth can trade in local markets and those that can export; (iv) permits the re-export of all kind of fish provided that they are accompanied by documents certifying the import; (v) it is allowed to export aquaculture fish, subject to the provisions of the relevant Regulation.
