This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution consisting of 3 articles amends (i) art.51 and changes the percentage of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) present in water intended for agricultural use from 1000 to 2000 milligrams per liter; and (ii) art.52 where a paragraph is added stating that in case of treated wastewater discharges and treated industrial effluents into unrefined water surfaces that affect freshwater surfaces, it is necessary to carry out a study including criteria and standards provided for at art. 51 and ensure that it does not affect fresh water surfaces.
