Abstract This Resolution consisting of 4 articles aims at regulating the use of those veterinary raw materials that enter into the manufacture of veterinary preparations with a therapeutic, preventive or diagnostic effect or improve animal body functions. They include raw materials, carrier materials, and any materials that are included in the composition and manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations ready for sale. Conditions that allow the import of veterinary raw materials for veterinary factories are (i) valid copy of the factory license; (ii) import permit issued by the Ministry of Environment, accompanied by a Proforma Invoice form the exporting factory, a Certificate of Analysis issued by the producer, and GMP certificate issued by the competent authority of the producer country. The Law prescribes also that the veterinary drug factories must keep a record of movement of raw materials, as well as keep a copy of the ministry's import permissions and a copy of the customs release for at least a year.
