This Resolution enters into force on 23 January 2001.
Abstract

This Law is composed of 5 articles. Article 1 decrees the ban on the importation of any specie of squids. Article 2 prohibits the importation and exportation of living animals including birds or their products mentioned in the list of the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES). Article 3 prohibits the importation of any specie of living hawks mentioned in the list of CITES from 1 September to 31 March of each year. The Director of the Animal Resources Department shall define the necessary requirements and conditions for the implementation of this Resolution (art. 4).
