Abstract This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 establishes the Committee which is formed by a Director of Agricultural services Department, who shall act as president of the Committee, and by 4 members representatives of the Director of Agricultural Production and Research Department, Director of Agricultural Guidance and Prevention Department, Head of Agricultural Quarantine and Agricultural Services Department. Article 2 defines competencies and duties of the Committee, which are: (a) to examine and study the applications presented by individuals, companies, firms and shops operating in the agricultural field for the issuance or renewal of licences according to the requirements provided for in Annex 1 for the commerce in seeds, pesticides and fertilizers; and, (b) to fulfil and accomplish technical requirements and conditions requested by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fish Resources for the commercial and private nurseries as well as for the shops selling layers and plants according to Annex 2.
