This Ministerial Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Order approves the Internal Regulation of the National Institution for Fish Inspection, IP, approved by Resolution No. 30/2020 of 23 July. The Regulation, consisting of 54 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Institution, entitled to perform the following actions: a) sanitary licensing of production units and processing operators, handling of fishery products and by-products; b) health certification of fishery products; c) conduct research programmes and provide services as a result of official controls; d) carry out health/sanitary control and other inspection.
